For the majority of people, visiting Europe is a dream not many can afford. However, the low cost carrier, Norwegian Air Shuttle, hopes to change that dream into reality. The company hopes to sell one-way tickets to Europe for $69 as early as 2017.
U.S airports such as New York’s Westchester County Airport and Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport, will probably be the lucky few to host these flights. As of now, there is talk about flights to Edinburgh and Bergen Norway. Moving into airports with low fees will enable the airline to offer these low cost fares said Norwegian Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Bjorn Kjos. To sweetened the deal even further, Norwegian Air also stated these flights will be nonstop, making it a pretty hard deal to beat!
I can’t wait for this to launch. What are your thoughts behind it? How much more will you be able to travel because of it?
