Review: Holiday Inn Resort, San Jose Del Cabo

Destination: San Jose Del Cabo
Resort: Holiday Inn Resorts

The following review was written about the booking experience and their stay at the Holiday Inn resort in Cabo San Lucas by one of my clients, Brittany Goldsmith. (The opinions expressed belong solely to the person who wrote the review)

” I contacted a good friend and amazing planner Suzz’s Travels for help. I told her the dates I wanted to go, possible places I wanted to visit, and let her run with that.

She booked us an all-inclusive stay in San Jose Del Cabo with round-trip flights through Frontier Airlines, and set up transportation from the airport to the hotel/from the hotel to the airport. Along with planning the entire trip, she gave us advice on what to do before we travel (what to bring, what papers to have, register with the embassy, etc.), as well as local places to see once we arrived. It was so nice to be able to not have to stress planning a trip and having someone take care of every detail, I mean every detail!

When we arrived in San Jose, we found our transportation easily and were on our way to the hotel. Getting a room took some time, I was a priority member with the hotel (Holiday Inn Resorts) and so the upgraded room wasn’t ready. The property was beautiful with walkways, grass, and palm trees everywhere. There is a bird estuary adjacent to the property, so it was calming to hear the birds chirping throughout the morning and day. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good, but must note we didn’t have dinner at the restaurants because we were never around to reserve a spot. There is a buffet outside every night with live entertainment, but the food is not that good (room service-awesome though).

The actual town of San Jose is roughly a 15 minute walk, or you can take a taxi, where you can find shops, art galleries, and eateries. Definitely recommend the Tropicana restaurant. If you go along the strip of hotels you can also find other shops and eateries; we stopped for sushi and wine, both were really good! Overall, I would highly recommend the resort and area. The staff at the front desk is not fully adept at customer service, but everyone is very friendly and helpful. The resort is an older crowd, some families, and very relaxing. The rooms are very much beach style, with tiles flooring and décor. There is WiFi through the whole resort, so if you are using Whatsapp (also recommended by Suzz’s Travels) you can stay up to date without international charges. We had a great time in Mexico and came back refreshed. Thank youSuzz’s Travels for making everything so easy and enjoyable!”
