We have been on a mission to find good Mexican food in New York city for a few years now. So whenever we do, we have to share it with the rest of you. To our surprise we happened to come across this little gem in uptown New York. The food is fresh and made to order so expect to wait sometime as it is being cooked. The chips and salsa are often and indication of what to expect the food to be like, and they serve them nice and fresh here. To top it off, they had $5 Margaritas and $3 beers as part of their happy hour. Win? We definitely think so.

Their Shrimp Quesadilla is SO good. The tortilla seems to be handmade. I am going back to make a meal out of just this. We ordered it as an appetizer but i definitely wanted more. It reminded me of the Shrimp Tacos in Tijuana, Mexico

Lemon Chicken: sliced juicy chicken breast, baked and marinated in their own special lemon sauce. So tasty!

Molcajete: Skirt Steak, chicken breast, Chorizo, Fried cheese, onions, cactus and avocado. Served with tortillas, rice and beans. One could definitely serve two people if you feel like sharing.
