A Sunday In Brooklyn, NY

Located on the Brooklyn side of the east river is the 85-acre Brooklyn Bridge Park. The park provides beautiful views of New York. Taking a walk along the park up to the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn isn’t only a good way to stay active but also a great way to discover art along the fence, a small beer garden within the park, places to picnic at, read viagraoverthecounter.net or even get a tan!

The park provides visitors with outdoor activities such as basketball, rollerskating, waterfront workouts and Kayaking amongst many other options (to see their calendar of events click here). The park even has a pop-up pool this summer, that is free to the public. It is important to note that the pool holds 60 people and wristbands are issued to grant access so make sure you get there early.

At the Pier 5 waterfront you will find Smorgasburg taking place every Sunday from 11-6pm. This outdoor flea market features packaged and prepared foods. Vendors from New York City and across the region, all gather up here providing the public with plenty of options as there is 100 vendors to choose from. Don’t forget to bring cash with you as cards are not accepted. If you happen to forget or you run out of cash, there is one ATM machine on the premises. We suggest you bring enough cash so that you can sample a little bit of everything!
