Destination Focus: Dominica Island

Today’s destination focus is the Dominica Island “the Nature Island”, only 298 square miles in size, it’s located in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea. If you are seeking a place without the big all-inclusive resorts and restaurants and are craving more of a laid back, local scene, you will love it here. The island has 365 rivers flowing through it and still maintains many Indian reservations. The island is great for diving, hiking, snorkeling, whale watching and boat excursions through its rivers. Dominica also offers its visitors many hot springs to choose from.

Fun Fact: The Pirates of The Caribbean was filmed here.
